Flossing technique guaranteed to rid you of cavities...

...well maybe not quite guaranteed, but the fact that you are here is a great first step and at least we are getting the ball rolling in the right direction. Historically I was not brought up with the best oral habits, but it all changed with proper education, mixed with enough determination, and fear... yes, I too, am afraid of the dentists :).

The knowledge of what causes decay is pretty common and easily accessible on the web, so I won't bore you with that; I will however teach you a technique that worked for me in many other aspects of my life, including flossing. It's called "immersion".

The image that I want you to picture is very suitable for this season. Imagine your house cowered in cobwebs. Just like the one below. And this is exactly how I want your house, your car, your office space/cubicle to look like with floss packs or flossers everywhere. Everywhere you look there should be a floss pick handy.
You are on a date with your spouse - floss pack in your car glove box, car side pockets, your purse, and your make up bag (if such things exist)... You are going to the beach or a picnic - floss in your beach bag, your lunch box, etc... you got the point. This will be a very strong reminder to floss every time after you eat and combined with the cost of going to the dentist and fear of noise/needle/smell (pick two) should be enough to get you in the habit.

Once you get the immersion mastered, you will be a pro-level flosser. Leave the rest to your trusted dental coaches to guide your technique to help you improve.
Take these first steps and you will be light years ahead with minimal effort.

Need I remind you why you don't want dental tooth decay? Didn't think so.
Later, my dental assassins...
